Aadhaar Seeding with NPCI (BASE Portal) – Step by Step Guide

Linking Aadhaar with your bank account through NPCI BASE (Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler) is very simple. Follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Open NPCI Official Portal

• Visit the NPCI official website

Step 2: Go to Consumer Section

• On the homepage, click on the Consumer option in the main menu.

Step 3: Select Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)

• From the consumer options, click on Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE).

• This will redirect you to the Aadhaar Seeding/De-seeding request form.

Step 4: Enter Aadhaar Number

• Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number correctly in the given boxes.

Step 5: Choose Request Type

• Select Seeding (if you want to link Aadhaar with your bank).

• Select De-Seeding (if you want to remove Aadhaar from a bank account).

Step 6: Select Your Bank

• From the drop-down list, select the bank name where you want to link Aadhaar.

Step 7: Enter Bank Account Number

• Type your bank account number in the field.

• Confirm by re-entering the same account number in the next box.

Step 8: Agree to Terms

• Tick the checkbox to give consent for using Aadhaar details for authentication with UIDAI and your Bank.

Step 9: Submit the Request

• Finally, click on Submit.

• Your Aadhaar will be sent for authentication and seeding with the selected bank.

Once successful, your Aadhaar will be linked to the bank account, and you will start receiving DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), subsidies, scholarships, and pensions directly into your account.
